Despite the fact that the car has only been 98% OK since rebuild in 08, it has brought us to Florida for the last two winters with no significant problems. This year, after the 1800 mile drive down it sounds like a tractor on idle and the car shakes so much it is giving me a headache.
Runs strong on the highway - speed limits are 70 mph here so i bury the needle once in a while.

I change all spark plugs - lots of crud but none fouled. I sprayed around all vac lines with no change.

A tech at last years mid-Florida GN meet in old town thought i might be getting a sticky/collapsed lifter.

Any thoughts?:dunno:
