How in Gods name do you install/uninstall the spark plugs without the socket getting stuck in the head?? I never even see sometihng like this before. Why could have made the damn socket groove bigger?? Even when the motor was on the engine stand I got the socket stuck and couldnt get it out, I needed to uninstall the plug.

thks

Chuck I appreciate the offer. I will be down GA soon. I am going to go to sears and see if they have the special socket. Wendy, not sure why you dont have this problem. I am using a reg socket and it is tight as a mofo. I did a search and found nothing. surprised no one else complained?? MAybe it has to do with which version the heads are??

I just use a thin walled deep socket. Its not a 'spark plug' socket.

I just order GN1s. If they know this problem exists, why haven't they fixed it?

Stick the end of the sparkplug into a length of large vacuum hose or fuel hose and start it like that.....not with your fingers.
