I need a bit of wiring help. I am in the process of installing a cruise control setup from a TR in the Toy. Since my car is a hybrid, I need some info on the brake switches. I’m pretty sure that there are two brake switches on the TR? I know one switch is for the dump valve and has three wires in the connector. Two pink with a black stripe paired together on one terminal and one purple wire on the other. Is this the switch that normally controls the wastegate solenoid, canister purge, and TCC? What does the other switch do besides make the brake lights go on and off?

Looking at the cruise control wiring diagram, (That Jim Testa posted on the big board) on the module I see terminal A is Grey, G is brown, and they go to brake switch.
There is also a Grey wire coming off the cruise control switch that goes to the brake switch as well. Which brake switch? My problem is that I cannot find any reference to a brake switch circuit diagram.

Thanks
Paul

The gray wires go to terminal B of the cruise electrical brake switch which is part of a double switch. Stalk gray, B terminal from the switch gray, and a gray wire from terminal A cruise on input on the cruise module.

The brown wire on the terminal A of the switch goes directly to terminal G of the cruise module called brake input of course.

I think the other half of the brake switch controls the solenoid function for the TCC.

Just to make sure got this right...In other words, are you saying that the 2 gray wires(one stalk, one module)go to one side of the switch and the brown goes to the other?

Thanks
