Whats the back spacing needed for frount and rear of our cars 3-4.5?

i would like to get some 15x8 weld stars and would like to know the correct backspacing if im not already.

Also anyone have better MPH or ET times due to thies wheels?

tires as 235/60/15 BFG

anyone have any objections to this combo like larger wheels or tires or other comments?

I use centerline wheels 16x8 with 4" backspacing.

I found that 16" wheels really change the attitude of the car and modernize the look a little.

The 4" BS work well in the rear at tucking the tires where they should be I use 255/50/16 in the rear resulting in a 9.5 (approx) tread width.

There are some pics on my website at the link below. Under "About my heap"

With the tires I chose, the overall diameter is still 26" so there is no effect in gearing from the stock wheels.

If you were to get a tire that made the overall diameter 28" ( a typical thing to do) the effective gear would be close to putting in a 3.23 or 3.31 gear. But the car would sit with a rake, which is a neat look for some.
