OK I don't know what to do about slicks/wheels for next season...if you haven't heard I am building up my car to run high to mid 10's...now I know I want a 28" slick...but how wide can I go? I don't want to do any modifications to the frame or wheel wells...can I run 28x9's on stock GN wheels and not have traction issues? or can I fit a 28x10.5 on those same wheels...if not what is the widest slick/wheel combo i can do without modification? thanks

or how about this...what if I want to run slicks on my 16" GNX wheels...I see that nobody even offers a slick in a 16" size especially 28"...is this possible and I am missing something or what?

Not many people run 16 inch slicks however I believe Hoosier makes some...

Hoosier now makes the QTP in 16 inch for the GTA wheel, and MT makes ET's in 16 inch as well. Not sure about a full slick though..I have the MT ET on my 87 GN no problem, no spacer. I have the front GTA wheels on the rear.
