No, the AeroChambers are awesome mufflers. I think the other gentleman wanted a louder exhaust. Stick with what you have.
Orlando, the only writing on my muffulars are the words hooker on the muffulars themselves are those the same muffs as aero's?
I just put a hooker kit on last night and they are black shaped funny on the edges and the ones i put on say hooker AeroChamber on them

btw its been awhile since I installed a hooker kit and I'd say its a tie between crappy fit with atr's duel kit

torque tech rules in fit ... way better than atr or hookers

and since every part in the hooker kit has canada stamped in it could you tight azz canuks atleast supply bolts crazy

Blame Canada canada
The guy that installed my hooker system was not happy with it at all .He said i hope you did not pay alot for it ,he said it did not fit right. He seems to be a jerk off lately. He did not get the tail pipes to come out on both sides equally in looks.the right one i can't even see unless i get on the ground and the left one fits ok right behind the tire.He told me he would put my test pipe on and then weld the gutted cat housing around it.We'll i am pissed because he went back off his word and now i have an exhaust with one tail pipe in view and one not and i have a test pipe in my trunk not on the caR AND HE STILL charged me 70.00 ;he usually charges that including piping. What's this world coming too!
Thats strange. My hooker dual was about the best fitting exhaust I ever bought. There must be a huge variance in quality control.

The areochambers flow great though.
Hello Eric,
I got my chip from you in the mail yesterday;i hope tonight i'll be able to put my car on the lift and install my injectors ,coil pack and chip.
THANKS FOR YOUR SERVICES!I'll let you know how it performs with the 57's real soon. :)
Hookers have always seemed to fit well. Sounds like an installer problem to me.

You putting the injectors in from the bottom? :D

JUST PUT A HOOKER SET ON DID YOU USE THE HANGERS OR DID YOU BOLT IT TO THE FRAME?

NAH just wanted to brag about my father in laws new lift in his garage.lol
:p

i just looked at my new 57lb injectors and they have the right part#3172 on them but they don't have 57lb or high z written on them .they just read siemens deka stamped on them and besides the part #3172 written in white they also read 3-085-77138 in white also. racetronix website shows injectors with a orangess colored sticker on injectors these don't
the part number is the only thing that matters and it is correct for #57 units

I have done many exaust installs even full customs by using mandrel bends welding them all together

the desciption of the fit above sounds like the one I just did...there was no possible way to make it better...the drivers side ended up ok but the pass side tailpipe would not reack far enough to get out even with the 1/4 even not hooked to anything at the front

not to mention that the hanger on the pass tailpipe is shorter and makes tha tailpipe sit up closer to the 1/4 panel than the drivers side

and the Y part from cat to mufflers are too close together not leaving room to get the driveshaft out

I dont plan to recomend hooker exaust anymore if I have to install it

how many turbo regals have beat in gas tanks to get atrs exaust on ??

abd both atr and hooker you have to drill the frame at the rear for the tailpipe hangers were torque tech's hangers go to holes already there from the factory

RED thanks for letting me know about that . :)

THEY DIDN'T MUFFULATE PROPERLY ON MY CAR. silly
lol. silly i like the hooker sleeper sound effects powersix :)
i have the 2.5" hooker exhaust system with the aerochamber mufflers...i run a dump pipe and when it's closed it's pretty quiet but still somewhat noticeable...when you get on the gas and the turbo whines it sounds awesome with a 3" downpipe...SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

now uncap the dump and it sounds like an entirely different car...sounds like a 350 small block with open headers yup
The only problem is people may look at you a little funny when you say you have a coupla' Hookers under your car. ugh
