THE FOLLOWING ARE WHAT I HAVE DO ALREADY PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT I SHOULD DO NEXT.
1)TA-49 TURBO
2)009 421/2 INJECTERS
3)MEASE STRETCH ITERCOOLER
4)MEASE DOWNPIPE w DUMP AND EXHAUST
5)WALBRO 340M FUEL PUMP
6)LARGER INLET PIPE
7)TESTA CHIP
8)SLICKS
9)K&N FILTER W/MAF PIPE
10)160 THERM. STAT
11)SCANMASTER
I THINK THATS IT. WHATS NEXT GUYS?

I'd put the money towards something other than the throttle body and upper plenum. You can run 10's with stock pieces.

How about alcohol injection, or a new convertor?

Should be running 11s with the current combo...

I doubt you will find any bang for the buck witha larger tb.

I would spend 60 bucks for a Power Plate. If you want to spend a bit more, buy a MaxEffort chip.

Rear suspension mods to let you hook. You should be making lotsa power, but if you can't put it to the ground...

YEA I SHOULD BE RUNNNING 11'S BUT THE FASTEST I HAVE WENT IS 12.8 @105MPH. AND THATS WITH 20LBS OF BOOST AND A 1.7-8 60 FT.
WHATS WRONG? AND WHAT DO I DO AFTER THE POWER PLATE?
I'm going to totally disagree with you guys here.
Get the Jay Jackson T-Body/Doghouse and a power plate if you're so inclined.
Very effective at improving airflow and distribution.
Cheap too!

You need a good race chip and 25lbs. of boost with good race gas to run 11's with that combo.

I'd get a ball bearing 60 series turbo, 3K stall converter, and 50's injectors, and heck toss in the JJ throttle body and plenum mods. along with the power plate.

Then you should be able to hit the 11's with slightly less boost.

If you want to go faster, take your heads off and fire up the die grinder.

A race chip and 116 octane will get you into the 11's with what you have, make sure you have good rear breaks so you can hold 10# at the line.

Save your money. You should be in the high 11's with what you have now and stock plenum and throttle body. Make sure everything you have is in good working order and tune tune tune. You said nothing about your trans and converter. If it not uo to par you can loose that 3/4 sec you are looking for with slippage and flaring...

RK, I am a fan of the JJ tb rework, if you need one due to throttleshaft wear. Wonder how many can actually document a performance improvement with any aftermarket tb/plenum, tho? Better low pedal response, yep...but, faster quarter mile time? I have not seen one posted yet.

12.8s are not too bad for 20# of boost..put some race gas and a good chip in it...along with tires and turn the boost up. You should be in the 11s.

Alky, as Banning suggested, would give you more punch on the street. With some effort, you might be surprised how fast the car is. There ain't no magic parts no matter what you read.

At 20# of boost, most of the parts you have at the moment are not being utilized very well.

Ah,I see you have forgotten all those guys who picked up 2-5 tenths with Jay's setup.
This was common knowledge when Jay's setup was the "latest thing".
Now apparently it never happened?

What's the american exchanged rate on those numbers
If you compare an old worn out throttle body to a new stock,JJ unit or a accufab you will see better numbers. In his ET range and if his Throttle body is good I would leave it. Maybe add a powerplate. But only after he hit the 11's

I remember the Hemco which was the rage...easy two tenths...then suddenly, no one could show it. Same with larger tbs. I don't forget, I keep score and wait for the game to be played.

JJ does excellent work, and to replace an old tired parts, it's the best buy going.

Bell mouthing everything nicely has to improve air flow...maybe a few hundreths.....2-5 tenths? Maybe in Argentine currency!

If you believe in magic.....Kennebell and BGC can fix you up!

It's an easy to do mod. whilst you are in there for the power plate.

No reason to physically do them at separate times total of $200 or less in parts.

My labor rate is worth a lot more being lazy.

Just my take on why I did them all at the same time.

Hopefully I got some improvement from it all.

Butt dyno couldn't even register for them both.

Oh,wise guy eh?

The numbers I quoted were from Jay's customers as stated by Jay himself.
If you remember, the idea is to get rid of the obstruction behind the T-body and the sharp corner as well.
It's worked well on every doghouse/t-body I've done it to[you can definately see it on the plugs].
It may not be the be all/end all,but it works really well.
Add that to a power plate and you've got a nice bit of insurance for less than $200[$125+$50] and you'll never a need to upgrade again.

As to the other two vendors you mentioned.....thhpttttt!

Actually drivability and not leaning the rear cylinders out under all types of condtions should all be good. Timeslips certainly don't show everything on a daily driver.

Dyno testing and a 6 EGT test would be nice.

Steve how often do you go racing?

Come on up to ATCO the 23rd.

I WOULD LIKE TO SEE STEVE COME UP ON THE 23RD TO ATCO TO TALK TO HIM BECAUSE I THINK HE CAN ANSWER ALOT OF MY QUESTIONS AND HELP ME OUT ALOT. BUT HE LIVES IN TEXAS AND THATS KINDA FAR FOR HIM TO COME JUST TO RACE.
