Finally getting some real toys on the car! headbang

EGT (Omega)
Comp cams vacuum resevoir
9/11 3500 stall
fresh tranny with deeper pan
PT-54
MSD-50's

According to my sig, how much of a difference will I notice? (After proper tuning of course)

A lot less money in your wallet. :D

Well according to what you've accomplished with the stock stuff, this stuff should put you in the ll's....I say well into them. If you get some head work done to really let that turbo push air into the cylinders then you'll close enough to 10's to get really angry. headbang

I'm no guru but a 3500stall seems high dunno

I think Jack Evers runs a 54, he could tell you better than I.

I run a PT54 and a stall of 3500. It's a perfect match. But you will not make enough torque to twist it that high. This combo likes good headwork. This is what will hold you back. I say 11.70 until the heads are done. Then the sky is the limit wink

Not to mention. Eliminating the chance of breaking those old parts you are replacing.

Ok. That was my sad attempt to be funny for the day.

I'm headin' out to my shop now.
Prolly sit in a lawn chair and stare out the door for awhile....

I used to run the PT-54 with my 3200 stall. I thought it spooled perfect but i like them to spool a tad slower than most. The 3500 should satisfy you! My guess with be 11.60-11.80's @ 112-115 mph with a solid tune and traction. I had a the 54, MSD 50's, 3200, V-4, 3"dp and exhaust, stock heads, and ran 12.00's @ 114 mph w/ a 1.84 60'.

I guess I am a little more optimistic then some of the other members but I am thinking you will drop 1 second in ET and gain 10 mph if locking the converter. My guess is 11.50's at 116 mph. If I am right what do I win??? :D
