I remeber reading something that WCC didn't want to reup the deal with MTV as they are trying to build back a "legitimate" reputation in the automotive customizing scene. They even had a cameo on Chip Foose's show this past season.

"Mad Mike" and I chatted about it, and from what I understand the guys pretty much all split up and are off doing their own things. I've seen some cars come out of West Coast Customs that are built really well, but Mike said that the producers always were telling them to do stupid crap to the cars. On a side note he also told me that their fame pretty much went straight to "Ish"'s head and after the first season he wouldn't go anywhere without an entourage. He also was demanding more on screen time and when he'd show up to work on actual work days he'd have on expensive clothes and shoes and refuse to do any dirty work.

I just found this ....

Pimp My Ride," returns for an all-new season, with an all-new garage. Once again, rap superstar and car enthusiast Xzibit and car customization specialist Mad Mike take aim on the biggest clunkers on the road. Joining them for this new season, and giving a new spin on car customization, is GAS -- Galpin Auto Sports. Taking car customization to the next level, together Xzibit, Mad Mike and the crew at GAS create unheard of pimped out masterpieces.

An all-new season starts Thursday, June 15th 10:00 P.M. EST

He made a guest appearance at a tent sale for the company I worked for and we got to ride in a limo for about 40 mins from the airport to the event. He was amazed about all the water around here in Seattle and was taking a ton of pictures of Lake Washington and stuff. He's a really down to earth guy and not much like he acts on TV. Luckily traffic sucked on the way so he felt right at home.
