Trouble light came on last night informing me of a non working VSS Sensor. I checked the MPH on the scanmaster and it was reading 0 at speed so I'm going to assume my VSS sensor is bad. Now, what type of symptoms should one expect from a bad VSS sensor?

Car seems to run ok, yet there is a slight stumble under acceleration. Is that indicitive of a bad VSS sensor? Also now that I"ve reset the ECM the Check Engine light isn't coming back on yet it still reads 0mph all the time. Sorta like zaps car!

If you have cruise control, it will not work.
A bad VSS or buffer will affect the fueling chart(I think) as well.

Is your speedometer still working? Should be.
