I have justed pulled a NA 109 engine out of an olds. I was considering building this block up to go turbo. Are the pistons in this car the same as that of a stock 3.8 turbo? what about the crank? Can I use either of these in my rebuild? Thanks

Nope, crank and pistons are different.

Go with the 3.8 Sealed Power Hyper pistons. They are cheap at less than $200 with the rings. Some have even said a balance of the rotating assembly isn't necessary because the weight is supposed to be the same as a 3.8 turbo piston. thumb_up

You can go faster than most people think with Hypereutectic pistons. Sames with the crank and rods.

What are you looking to get out of the car?
