When I did the Regal's tranny I looked all over the place locally for a drain plug kit. Most of the people had no idea what I was talking about, or if they did they said they didn't carry one. I just picked one up today at Advance Auto Parts in the "HELP!" section. Part # is 65128. Don't know if they had them before and didn't know it or not.

Would that be before or after you drain the fluid?

I use a old inline fuel pump with 5 feet of 5/16 fuel line. I shove the line down the dipstick tube and turn on the pump. It pumps out 4-5 qts in 3 minutes. and no jacks and no mess. I drop the pan to change the filter twice a season.

I do. I use Mobilfluid 424 tractor fluid. It's still in good shape when I take it out. I use it in my 290K mile Monte. Its eats about 2qts a month.
