Was changing out my stock Converter and noticed that it had D-6 stamped on the Converter. I was thinking that I should have found only a D-5. Does anyone know what Stall a D-6 is and is that the reason why I could not build much Boost? I'am replacing with a 9/11.Hope this will do the trick.

at this point in time, the letters may, or may not, mean anything due to possible reworking.

The simplest way to determine effective stall is to put your foot on the brake, step on the gas and note the rpm that the rear wheels begin to turn in spite of the brakes being applied.

Stock converters would normally hit 2300-2400 rpm depending upon the quality of the brakes.
