I am putting a 86-87 3.8 into my 92 Camaro. It will basically be a TTA. I want to know what I should do after I get it running and on the road. The first thing I plan on doing is a full and complete tune up. New liquids, wires, and the works. It will already have a Flowmaster catback on it. So what should be the first few mods I should do just to get her running strong?

Autometer boost gauge? And I have heard of some guys on here blowing hoses. Should I go ahead and get some high perf ones to begin with? Do they make any?

Well the first thing is to make sure you have enough fuel pump to handle the gas needed. Besides a boost guage, I think the next most important item is the fuel pressure guage that you can watch to make sure you are getting enough fuel under boost.
As far as the hoses go, put t-bolts clamps on all intercooler hoses (get new hoses) and tie wrap all other boost hoses and you will be ok.
A scantool is also a must.
