I recently purchased a TE-44 turbo used. It was sent out for a rebuild. I was told it was not a normal TE-44 and it had be sent from Rochester,NY where I live to California for rebuild. I got turbo back, it looks great but I noticed that my stock exhaust elbow will not fit, the waste gate puck is too small. What kind of down pipe or elbow do I need to keep this looking stock? Can anyone tell me how this could be different from a normal TE-44? It has 10TE2M stamped on the inlet housing. And a R.63 on the exhaust housing. I want to run a THDP if possible. Thanks in advance, Phil

The THDP's puck should be large enough to cover the hole. Sounds like somebody reemed the hole out to correct a boost creep problem. Common when adding THDPipes because they breath so well.
