Mike T. of TA Performance in Scottsdale invited a group of local TR owners to see his new Aluminum Stage Motor tuesday night. What a great looking piece of work. Block one will be installed and running before year end.

I wonder why they opted to go with a 14bolt oil pan rail configuration?

So now to use this block we will need a different oil pickup, 14bolt pan (which doesn't have a baffle) and a different front cover. Hardly a drop in the bucket for someone dropping $4 large on a block alone, but just curious.

Maybe the main bolts coming in from the sides would get in the way of some of the 20 bolts in the regualar configuration.

Anyone have an answer on this?

I've always wondered why no one has gussetted the lifter galley like that. I also didn't know that they were planning on making heads also.

Whose gut is that in the main cap photo?

They have both I think, on and off center blocks.

Can't wait to get one.

Pre-built by a gooroo of course.

Anyone have a billet crank lying around?

Are those side bolted Main caps?

It sure looks nice, I guess it better for whats going to cost to put one together.

Jack, exciting pictures and heard Duttweiler was very impressed with this engine! Has he ran the first one yet? 2000 hp. potential in full race version! An easy 6 sec time slip in a race car! I like the display area! (living room?) You and Nick M. keep us informed on this engine's progress! Gene

Nice pics...gonna be a much better deal than going to a stage block for most of us, I think.
