Help Please!,
There are a set of the T&D 1.65 Shaft Roller Rockers for sale on the other site. He cant guarantee they fit stock heads but is pretty sure they do. He bought them understanding they did but never installed them? They look like they should from the pics? Could someone who knows take a look if:
A they are of any advantage to use?
B they are worth $400
C Could you point me towards any info that I should read?
D comment's welcome god-bad wasted $$ for my application? etc etc
Thanks!!

I would say wasted $$$ for your application.

You already have a cam in the car,Those rockers will make the Lift even bigger,And it will just act like a bigger cam...But a large cam isnt needed in these cars.Thats been well documented,I think there might be some Machine work/Clearance/Needed on the stock heads with the 1.65 T&D's..But dont rememmber for certain.

Also,They will not fit under stock valve covers,You will need spacers or taller valve covers.Either way,If you dont have them..It adds to the price tag.

Good Luck..
Shawn

Ps..Want a good suggestion on how to wake the car up even more..Sell the 49...Add $400 bucks to it and buy a GT61...That will put a smile on your face.. :yup:

I noticed that ad too. It seems like a set or roller rockers are "only" $450 new. If that's the case, it might be worth it to just give Jack Cotton a call and see what he can do.

I paid $450.00 plus shipping for mine almost 5 years ago and they are the 1.65 ratio.

I have them on GN1 heads and have used the stock rockers and shafts on these heads as well. But i'm not sure if both types will work on stock heads without any work being done.
