Everytime I put the key into the ignition and turn it (not to turn on the car) but to make it so i hear the radio my boost gauge shows like 6 orange bars in the boost gauge, shouldnt it be 0. I have no clue why it does that. what needs to be fixed
John Spina @ Casper's Electronics now fixes the tach and boost bar graph guages on the analog dash cars now...I know I saw it on his web page somewhere, but I don't remember how much...
There is a gentleman in our club (Central Florida Club) that is repairing and recalibrating them. Maybe he is on the board and can chime in here. It can be done. I am sure if I was cursed with an analog dash car I would get those damn lights fixed....
I read somewhere, a MAP sensor was used as the trigger for a home made alky system. He said that the sensor was adjustable so he set it to trigger at ~14 psi. This is not the same sensor that feeds the factory boost gauge is it?
