Has anyone used there stock D5 torque converter and had it redone to stall 2800 ???? If so have you had problems with premature wear within the converter?? Im building a mild set up precision 69mm turbo 60lbs injectors with turbo tweak chip, intake, a stock location intercooler and some rjc bolt on equipment, and a3:73 gear. I know the stock converter is good for 2200 rpm. Car will be mostly driven on the street with maybe 1 a year visit to the track. I know if i go to a non lock up converter ill have to modify the trans for this. Thoughts please.....
