Are you running more than 94 octane.

What boost?
i got 93 in the tank now. its a 93 chip.
i dont have any guages but when i got the turbo back the guy said it was at 11 psi and we did 3½ full turns so about 14½. someone told me that because of the chip the boost is diffrent now??

It don't work that way... Get a boost gauge(not factory) and adjust your boost to 14-15 psi. I hope you have a adjustabe fuel regulator. adj it to 43psi(line off) with your fuel pressure gauge you have to buy or borrow. When you get your scan tool hooked up we will guide you from there..

You can make a make shift boost gauge out of any pressure gauge, Just put a barbed fitting on it, wedge it between your dash and windshield and T into your vacuum line somewhere. You could probably get a decent gauge from grainger for under $20.
i'm prolly gonna do the guage next week sometime
This is a busy time of the year and I just got my jury duty notice today. If you want after the holiday's I will give you a hand fine tuning your combo. I'm out your way often.

Rob.....like Ed said, it doesn't work that way...

Let him help you set it up if he is close by...I would take the 3.5 turns out of the boost for the moment...you really don't have a clue what the boost is after changing that based upon my experience with adjustable actuators...

I don't wanta come to NY to change headgaskets!

AS IF!

Because I would be forced to go up to Buffalo and find a hole in the Canadian border. Note, please!, that I said a hole in the Canadian border and not, an a hole in Ontario!
