I'm replacing the wheels on my 86 GN with American Racing torq thrust 15x7 wheels. I would like to lower the car about 1 inch and replace the stock shocks. I would like to benefit from someone else's experience on a good brand of shocks and springs. thanks, Turbogeezer

Shocks = Bilstien

Springs, well, depends on what you plan on doing with the car, so lets assume that you just want a good street car. Get the Moog springs, I don't know the part number off hand, but get something in the 500-600 lbs range in the front and 120-135 in the rear.

While you're in there changing old stuff may as well do the ball joints as well. Moog here also.

You may want to try a search (which you will find in the upper right corner of this page) and you should find tons of info and even some opinions wink
