I recently wrote down the RPO codes for my 87 GN. I went online and started to decipher some of them and notice some of the codes I could not find. These codes are listed below, any ideas.

ffl OPTION MISSING???
gmd option missing
pon OPTION NOT LISTED
6yx OPTION NOT LISTED
7yw OPTION NOT LISTED
8pz OPTION NOT LISTED
9sj OPTION NOT LISTED

Also I would like to decode the Body Number Plate but could not find any information.

I work at a GM dealership and my car has the exact same option codes per my VIN/RPO.

Our parts dept did a look up on the GM system and they also list those RPO with "no description available".

If GM doesn't know, how are we supposed to find out? dunno

FFL = Plant code,Fint,Michigan (Fisher Body)
GMD = General Motors Assembly Division
PON = Plant code, Pontiac, Michigan (Final Assembly)
6YZ = Left hand front spring
7YW = Right hand front spring
8PZ = Left hand rear spring
9SP = Right hand rear spring powersix

may not help with the ones you listed altho it gives the ranges as well as the specifics. Some of those may refer to some generic item such as, emergency brakes or lug nuts...
