reverse switch is at the base of the steering column near the floor on the top side
its a white platic and curved arounfd the topside of the column
it can be adjusted by pushing i left or right
your problem may not be the switch adjustment but the rod that moves it which is under the car

if your key moves freely in and out then adjust the switch
if the key sticks when you turn car off adjust the rod first then check the switch

now i know why i pay $40 a month for the internet! this was the simplest, yet stupidest repair i've made to any vehicle. i must have bumped the switch while i was contorted under the dash during the brake conversion. two clicks and reverse lights come alive! thanks for your help man, i appreciate it. :yup:
