Just picked up some new plugs ,they gave me r43ts6 (havnt bought plugs in a while).Whats the diff and will they work?

The "C" in CR43ts stands for Commercial. I've never compared the two side by side but the CR's are supposed to have a thicker electrode.

I believe the ts6 means it is intended to have a .060" gap. I would take them back.

Thanks Earl, but i was actually wondering about the 6 at the end.
There is no 'C', but last plugs i bought didnt have the 6.
Sorry that wasnt to clear.

I was thinking the 6 ment it was a box of 6. Sorta like bearings or valve springs.

Autolite 23's work well for me. If you're running a large wheezer and lot's of boost you may want to choke up on the gap a bit...anywhere from .35 as far down to maybe even .28 to keep the kernel burning. :6:

Yes, the 6 means intended gap of .060. The s on the ts is for extended tip. So, if you wanna pull the electrode in further so it doesn't glow and detonate on ya you can go with an R43T.
