I got my elbow off my car and would like to port in out. where do I start, isn't most of the porting done around the puck? thanks for the help.

The idea of porting the elbow is to open the ID (where the downpipe bolts on) to at least 2.5 - 2.6 Inches (some stock ones with early castings can neck down to 2" or less)

Once you've done this, put a .25 - .40 inch "inside" or "shortside" radius going into this hole.

Now, be sure no portion of the elbow covers the outlet of the turbine, but don't thin the wall too much and NEVER blend on the mating face.

Don't worry too much about the wastegate area, other than lowering the "dike" going into the downpipe hoe and putting a raidius on it.

It pretty easy to do and the cast iron particles are non-toxic (good thing)
