I pulled my oilpan on my newly acquired T-TYPE and there was what I think is a factory bottom end. The crank has the rolled fillets and the pistons say "hepolite" #21422 , are these the GM originals? The rods had "sps" capsrews/rod bolts but one had a "U" stamp on the end instead of "sps". Which is right?
No.1 & 4 had spun rod bearings and thats it.
Thanks alot for any input.

Hepolite are the original pistons...very durable.

The factory used SPS bolts but also some other ones. Probably all stock.

I suggest resizing any rods that had spun bearings or you will probably do it again.
