Alright, any trick in getting those "self tapping" allen head bolts to work? Also, trying to install engine tie down. Where do I hook the upper portion? My friend has a metal "O" on his alternator braket. My car does not. Thanks again!!!!

Eye bolt should come in a Buick vendors kit.

Otherwise go with a forged eyebolt from McMaster Carr or you will snap a cheapy Home Depot one.

For the snubber it would be worthwhile to get the right sized bolts if possible. If not they will go in crossthreaded if you force them.

The kit that I got came with 2 bolts, but they are crap. There's no way type of machine bolt will cut new threads in steel. As for the engine tie down, I thought the bolt that came was for the bottom. I'll look at it again. Thanks Salvage!!
