I have a remote oil filter with the supply for the turbo coming from the filter housing and I have wondered at what oil pressure the bypass valve opens around the filter at the engine and if you happen to run a higher pressure spring it would seem that the turbo would starve for oil if the bypass opens even momentarily at the higher pressures with no oil circulating through the filter.Any comments would be appreciated .

I've heard it bypasses as low as 4#! eek! That being the differential across the filter itself. I plugged my bypass when I went to a dual remote spin-on setup. :)
