I bought two Nitto DRs last week and i am excited to put them on my car. I am just waiting to get two new rims from Classic Industries, but they are on back order.
Anyways, I hear good things about them and I had a couple of questions.
Should I smoke them, and how long? How much of a difference is there when hot? I know not to take them through the water box. Their website says that they can be used well below 2/32 of tread, just not on the street. The site actually says to stop using them when you see nylon. What is everyone's experience along these lines? The first things I noticed that the tires are very soft to the touch and have much less tread than my Yokohamas. But they are 6/32 like they should be.
Thanks.
