:dunno: ok... so now the new turbo is on and did the siemens 60 lb injectors with chip from jack this weekend... with the 42 lbs i set my redline around 4900 to let me know when im getting a little high for breakin....and a couple times it blew right by it to 55 5800...with out hesitation.... sooo i turned it down a little more.. until the motor is nice and loose maybe 1000 miles... put in the new injectors... and chip.. thats it... now it wont break 4000.....and sounds like sh*t when it gets there....yikes...i have the 340 and hot wire...should be enough for my set up... i think? the filter looks good from the outside... lol...i think its a fuel problem... but the other thing i noticed is my kick down cable was wayyyyy too tight...i got another 1/4 at least of throttle with readjustment...those are the only changes... :dunno:
i think fuel... but figured i would throw this out to get a second opinion......

1.If the only change was the jectors, then the difference would be a reduction in duty cycle, with the 60's. The engine should run the same way. [assuming the chip is correct]
2. If the cable was too short, by 1/4 travel on the t/b, how did it get that way?
Was it that way B4 the jector change?
When you changed it, did you check the TPS?
3. Do you have a gauge to check FP, while driving?
4. Do you have all the vac lines ty-wrapped?
5. What does the scan tool tell you?
6. WTF is "the filter looks good from the outside"?? You didn't change it before you installed the new jectors??

Hmmnn .. Let's see, the redline is 4900, and you let it go to 5900?? Sounds like you were in a "let's see what this MF'r will do", mode!! :D :yup:

Are you SURE the chip is burned correctly?? Sounds like the injs may be operating on a wrong size,[IE: 42# chip/60# injs] and the engine is being clobbered with too much fuel???? :dunno:

GET a scan tool B4 U join the DOTCC... :D

I would put the known good 42# injectors and chip back in to make sure it's the problem. Hate to see a fresh motor get gas washed with all this testing.

the only other thing that changed was the kickdown cable adjustment...
you think maybe its getting washed? too much fuel? it isnt letting loose the telltale black smoke or anything..ill get that pressure gauge on it tonight.....
what a pain in the a$$ to go fast huh...

Check the oil and smell for gas. I would not go out winding up this motor to 5k rpms with unknown problems and no scantools. :sw:

You dumped a ton of $$ and don't have a scan tool... at least get a scanmaster. Monies WELL spent... $250 for scanmaster or $$$$ for HG's and what nots. Glad you figured out the problem....Now get a tool before you become one :weed:
