Need platic Y and wastegate solenoid

1029 Views 7 Replies 5 Participants Last post by  Turbo_Tim
I have new Y hoses but suspect my orific hole is wrong size. I'm also pretty sure that my wastegate solenoid is bad because I'm overboosting like made until I block off the line leading to it with a nail. If anyone has these parts new, please contact me either here or at [email protected]

It's all in the orifice. I could be wrong, and don't quote, but I believe the opening is supposed to be .045. Check me on that. This more than likely is the problem..

GM still sells both"Bought mine last tursday.
I just recently had my wastegate actuator and solenoid replaced...also got new vacuum hoses and car runs perfect...I was overboosting just like u when I plugged that hole up...so much powa now! I ordered mine from Poston's since I ordered all new exhaust from them at the same time.

If the link doesn't work, they mention. .043, .048, ..050. You should be able to find a drill bit very near that size. (or a hot nail)
