Last week I installed a set of stock ported heads a new 208/208 cam, new timing chain, lifters. When I cranked it up it started to smoke (white smoke) from the tail pipes. I ran the car about 25-30 miles for cam break in. The car never stop smoking. If I rev it up it puffs out little white clouds(smoke). I found no evidence of water in oil or in the spark plugs. Car idles great, sounds good but that white smoke doesn't quit

White smoke could be coolant burning from a leaking head or intake gasket. Were the heads magnafluxed? Hopefully one is not cracked.

Perhaps a pressure check on your cooling system may reveal something.

Heads for only checked for cracks, but after port job they were not pressure checked. As for my intake I already did the gaskets twice and it still smokes. My last alternative was to remove the heads again. But if there is no choice it will have to be done. NOTE: my coolant bottle go down after I take it for a drive.
