As some of you know iv been putting in topics about my tranny. Well it still lives but very oddly.
Before i said it slipped. Well the problem is it doesnt try to go into gear. And now reverse which i have never had a prob with before is now affected. starting this morning i put the car in reverse to hear a whinding painful sound and now power to the wheels.

Could this be some sort of computer problem the whole time? dunno

I am far from being a transmission expert. But I thought for some reason the bands for first and reverse were tied in together.
If your fluid level is fine..... I can only speculate...
Is your TV cable hooked up? Could try moving it back or forward.
BUT. You might wanna confer on that.
Don't risk buning it up.

I believe the ECM controls TCC lockup funtion.

I added to my post above.
I've got a book around here on GM transmissions.
I'll look around for it and see what it says.
More so a rebuild book. Not totally sure if the 200-4R is in there or not.
If it has a Trouble shooters guide.
I'll see what it says.
