I was coming home tonight from the track and a 90 corvette was on the interstate so, i got up beside him and to make a long story short i beat him from a roll on at 75mph to 144mph at 4300rpm
He pulled over and said to me that he was going 144mph and i past him.
Anyway when i gave my throttle WOT tonight the lights would dim until i backed off.My car has never done this before.
I have a caspers volt booster and a walbro340 hot wire kit .Can anybody help explain this to me and help me correct this problem ,i'm sure if it's doing this then there is some power loss that i could get right.

Most likely the twilight sentinel figured you were fixing to enter the twilight zone and simply dimmed the lights so you could make a grand entry.

Or the VoltBooster was frying the regulator in your alternator because it did not expect to be on for 8 miles!
