I'm having a hard time finding Mobilfluid 424 Hi performance tractor hydraulic transmission fluid up here, does anybody know what another brand equivalent would be, that has the same specs?

Thanks

I been using Mobilfluid 424 for a long time. good stuff... Shell "DONAX TG" is close but none of the specs sheets show any product as good as Mobilfluid 424. I get it from a wholesale dist. A friend of mine. I think the shipping from here to Canada would not be cost effective.

Nemco seems to be out in your part of the country. Still looking for something local

The closest thing that I have found spec wise is Citgo transgard tractor hydraulic fluid. I am still looking for a distributor.

I just use Dextron 3.You could try a truck parts supply. They can get it, but it won't be cheap. The truck centers down here use Dex 3.WalMart carries something that sounds similar, but I'm not sure. Here's one for you;go to Parts Source and get some synthetic Dex[Castrol],and mix it 1/2 & 1/2 with regular Dex 3.You could also try full strength, but at $8 per,it could get expensive.

Give em' hell!
Hey Quicktoy, I think the company is based out of Manitoba, so you might have some luck yet. The Mobilfluid 424 or Nemco TGH (Same product, different package) was cheap!
I think it only cost me $22 for a 10 liter pail here in Saskatoon.
Don't settle for Dex 3, my tranny has never shifted better.

I'm still going to hold out for a bit.

I sent their head office an E-mail asking if they had a distributor for Ontario/Toronto.
Hopefully they will get back to me.

I posted a reply to this on the other board...If Grainger uses the same part #'s in Canada as they use here in the U.S., try to have them look up this number for Mobil 424...This number is for 2.5 gal container... # 4ZF29 ...Don't know why they wouldn't be able to order it in...

Hope this helps...
