About 700 HP. The big problem though is 8 head bolts. Then of course the crank. When in the 600 HP range everything is on the edge and it gets expensive. One of these days in the future I will switch over to the SBC for just these reasons.

For long life, maybe 575.

For a few shots, a bit more as seen in the 9.9s by some of the TSM guys.

should be very safe as long as you don't detonate it and the drivetrain is in good shape.

I would guess it starts getting more dicey at 450-475. The key is NO DETONATION. (and not driving like White Shadow) :D
