I'm interested but it's really based on price and time.

That and have any of these type things actually worked out before?

no reason for it not to work out if enough people are actually wanting to purchase them.

I'll be on the phone with them later today to get more details like time frame and price

Radius and myself will work together to make it happen if the interest is there :yup:

I understand the time frame thing in your case, but what are you refering to in terms of "working out"?
It should be a no brainer to make them out of an alloy like Inconel.
The exhaust valve is the one that takes the beating and needs the help.
You would get a valve that is ground and ready to drop in [no grinding on the valve].
It would be forged,not cast.
This would be a much better solution than hoping that a standard stainless valve would work and you know Ferrea's quality and reputation are beyond reproach in heavy duty, performance applications. :)
John at Ferrea even told me that if there's enough demand, this would become a standard part of Ferrea's catalog[that would happen if this run goes through,or so he tells me].
Let's see if we can correct this oversight and start something good for the TR guys. :)

What you'll want to look into is that the valve has a nice size tulip to increase flow. When I was looking for mine, I found that most of the high temp exh valves didnt have as big a tulip as the severe duty stainless I was running. That will hurt exh flow. The stem length was also another issue in that valve dia. I wound up going with a Manley Inconnel.

When I talked with them,I specified a copy of the 6237[exhaust,IIRC] in Super Alloy.
I *believe* that is a tulip valve.
I assume that's what Red and the techs discussed? :dunno:

Good question.
The guys at Ferrea know what I was spec'ing and talked to Red about handling the deal[no point in shipping to Canada and back to the States].
They hadn't gotten back to Red about it,last I heard[he did talk to them].
I'll see if I can get a response from Red,one way or another. :D

Yeah, what I said :)
I'm not sure if Red gave up on it due to a lack of interest or whether he just put it on the back burner for now.
I'll let him know. :)
