I recently bought an adapter kit to convert a 1985 Ignition Module to a 86-87 module. My mechanic says that three of the wire colors in the adapter do not correspond with the diagram sent. Does this matter? Here are the letters and wire colors that do not match up:

B=black with orange stripe does not match tan/black
C=light purple does not match pr/wh
F=black does not match black/red

Any help will be appreciated.

Is this the adaptor harness you bought from Casper's?If you have any doubts,call him and ask.It's probably alright.The wiring colours don't really matter as long as they go to the right pins.
