The problem is ...I cant stop buyin stuff for the car. My most recent purchases - A set of 60lb injectors, new injector harness, angled IAC adapter, torque strap, TT chip and emissions too, biggie filter adapter, oh yeah and a 23 Stock Location Intercooler from G-Body along with the PTE GT3255E turbo.
Just waiting for it all to arrive .... :headbang:
Not looking forward to the credit card bill though :dunno:
solution for ya. sell me that mease dp and new slic. just paid off my visa, credit card bills don't bother me, the higher apr the more motivation for me
Quick question , is there a stock gasket from the up-pipe to the turbo ? I didnt have one so I wanted to ask. I ordered the copper one w/ the new turbo. Also noticed the ground/ lower turbo bracket bolt was very loose ( little more than finger tight). Would this have caused any problems ?
From the factory there is no gasket between the turbo and header flange.
If that lower bolt was loose (that's a ground), then yes... it could have caused some problems. Be sure you clean the bolt and the block off real good before putting it back on.
Good luck with the car.
