hotwired?????????

when i got my 87 gn the guy told me that the fuel pump was hotwired.where do i look to find out? i put a Walboro 340 in it as soon as i baught the car. usa uzi silly

Should have a wire directly from the back of the alternator to the plug at the gas tank for the fuel pump. Will have a relay and plug assembly inline usually where it connects to the fuel pump. See caspers or kirbans site for a picture.
