would hot wiring the stock fuel pump give me any advantage at the track? can anybody think of any more go fast tricks for under 20 bucks (so what what if I'm a cheep bastard, I'm a college student give me a break)

It sure can't hurt! I had my stocker hotwired and it seemed to make a little difference. Especailly at night (I guess load from the headlights taking away power, or cooler air at night, or the combination of the booth). It din't help as much as the hotwired Walbro 340, but it's better than nothing.

Is there a place on the net were it explains how to hot wire the pump and would it be better to put it on a switch so its not hot all the time?
