Yup it hasn't been tested yet.
Actually maybe I'll bring it to work and soak it in Ethanol for a few days as a test.
It's a GEMS sensor out of Plainville, CT. Simple reed switch technology low current so it must be used with logic signals or a relay to trigger any kind of load using device.
I will probably just use a simple relay to open the circuit to the wastegate solenoid which gives you spring pressure boost with no alky. flow.
Not much more to say at this time.
There are very expensive all stainless steel built flow switches out there that cost about $200 each that would probably be best for this application ie. resistance to corrosion and temps.
