A few weeks ago i noticed a problem with my speedometer. It would dance all over the place while I was driving, from zero to fifty, and back to zero, all while I am cruising at 45 MPH!?!? In addition, the car seems to want to upshift then downshift then upshift, causing the car to move in a jerky motion. Any Ideas? New speedo cable and trans solenoid? Thanks in advance.

The upshift/downshift is probably in the chip, where the OD lockup is. It's around 45 - 50 mph. That can be adjusted. The speedo going in and out sounds like time for a new cable or grease yours or maybe it's about to fall out of the housing! Takes a special fitting to do grease it. HTH.
