OK, as most of you know I am trying to get this car of mine to pass emissions. swapped out O2, filters plugs, and EGR. I figured the EGR was bad because I disconnected the vacuum line and it started to run better. I replaced it and it is still doing the same thing. Any ideas? dunno

Are you saying it started to run better at idle? Because the EGR is not suppose to work at idle. If there is vacuum to the EGR at idle, check the solenoid.

Ok, Call me silly, but where is the solenoid for the EGR? ugh
EGR solenoid is a black rectangular box at the back of the passenger side valve cover. It has electrical wires hooked to it and 2 vacuum hoses hooked to it. One of the hoses connects to the EGR valve.

Ummm, actually, back of the driver's side valve cover. Just behind the EGR valve its self
