It been year since i have finish my 1986 Buick grand national Extreme edition.

Before i state documenting my custom build, here is a video of it on it trial breaking.

De-burring the internal skirt of the block.to help prevent cracks and casting line. De-burring the block help by reducing damages from frequency knock which travel in the cast iron to any promoting casting lines. all 109 block MUST be MAGNAFLUX .Magnaflux is a process of check the thickness of the casting was walls. Any thing area casting will become a damage block by crack.


A look at the Crankshaft oil hole gallery was enlarge to promote more oil flow and pressure so the crankshaft journal stay floating in it Main cap under massive HP production. The oil pan bolt holes are fitted with grade 8 threaded stud for girdling/Locking the block shirt to the crankshaft Main cap studs for rigidity with minimum flexing under hi-stress.


Here is the dual roller timing chain with the solid roller camshaft install and timing set to alinement.
