Fuel Pump Whining

The fuel pump is making a whining sound.
Any idesa? This pump does not have 2,000 miles on it.
I messed with the fusable links by the starter today fixing my fan. Could I of messed something up here?
I ran car after I fixed the fan and put in a new chip, set IAC & TPS, no noise.
When for a test drive, and the noise started.
This pump is hotwired with a kit from Ramchargers.

Does your fuel gauge read less than a 1/4 of a tank?? Sometimes you can here then whining when they are getting low on gas.

Like mentioned above, make sure fuel isn't to low and try not to let the gas ride so low before refilling. My personal experience with Walbro pumps usually has shown when there isn't enough fuel for the pump to shoot out causes the pump to stress and eventually go bad... again my own experience.

Hope that's it. It shows 5-7 gallons depending on what the digital guage wants to show.

I think that I have the loudest pump in Ontario... I pay it NO mind. But, that is just me.
