FUEL PUMP - NO RUN

327 Views 1 Reply 2 Participants Last post by  Steve Wood
The lowdown - 87GN, 80,000 miles, completely stock & original. Key on - no fuel pump, hotwire or crank long enough, pump runs. I used to know the answer to this one but time has taken it from memory. I replaced the FP relay, no change. What's wrong fellas??

Thanks,
Leon

fuel pump relay on the passenger inner fender is gone?

When you crank long enuf, oil pressure rises to above 4# and creates a bypass circuit via the oil pressure switch that then supplies power to the pump.
