For some reason my fuel pressure won't go below 40 psi.
i'm running 55 lbers and a red xp pump hot wired, but the regulator im using, its one of the ones that have the stock type bottom and the aluminum top who makes it ya got me.
but no matter how much i turn it the pressure stays at 40.
it'll go up no problem just not any lower.
anyone have any ideas??

Just to throw some stuff out there...I had a problem with my regulator [same no name brand
] and took it apart and found the plate that pushes on the diaphram was sticking and had come loose from the threaded bolt. Put it back together and all is well. Another thought, check the return line and make sure it is not partially blocked or kinked.

Dave,

If you wanna swap back to that stock appearing one I got.. thats cool with me.. This one goes as low as 30 if you want it to.. I'll never use lower than 40 PSI with the stock injectors anyways..

When I had yours on my car.. [I bought that one new from Modern Musclecar - remember?] come to think of it.. it never went below 40ish PSI then I dont think, but worked fine as far as the 1PSI of FP per boost..

Up to you.
