Last night. I installed 1 of those brass Ts on my fuel rail.
I was going to put the valve stem core and cap on the open part of it.
But decided to hook up a fuel pressure guage for the time being.
Upon starting it.
The fuel pressure only went to 36 line on..
It would not go any higher even with revving the engine a bit.
I know my car was low on gas.
So I shut her down and went to town and got a few gallons of 93.
I went here and there and finally came home.
Gone. Maybe 45 min to 1 hour.
Added gas and looked at the guage to see if it dropped any.
Dropped from 36 lbs to 34 lbs.
Is this alright or does it signify something wrong somewhere?[B/]
I didn't see any leaks from the fitting.
Anywho... After letting it warm up to 170*. I checked my pressure again.
This time it was 40 lbs line on.
Taking the line off. It jumps to 44lbs.

I believe these numbers 40 on 44 off are correct for a car with only a few mods right?[B/]

TIA.

BTW.
I'll post seperately my SM2.1 #s

right

pressure increases if boost is applied, or, drops if vacuum is applied...hence the reading is higher with the hose off.

So a tps of .56 that kicks the ecm out of idle mode, even when the car is idling, does not affect fueling? Damn, I learn something every day! :D
