I know there's gotta be some sort of formula for this question but since I don't have it I figured I'd ask the experts.... Is my 90GPH fuel filter located in FRONT of my 600lb per hr pump big enough to support the pump??

thanx for the feedback - Scott Wile

well, gasoline varies in weight from about 5 3/4# to 6 1/2 # per gallon.

That would mean about 92-103 gph for 600# so you might be near the margin if the pump actually is called upon to deliver full flow? At a bsfc of .6, that would be about 1000 hp.

I think it's time for a replaceable element racing filter. Paxton, Aeromotive and others make them with AN-10 fittings. You did run new fuel lines and sump the tank or have a fuel cell?

Zap said that Fluffy turned Earl down and chose Zap instead. I guess we shall have to wait until Joe Hillbilly airs to find out the rest of the story.
